Dr. Ben graduated from the University of Otago with First Class (Honours) in 2021, after moving to New Zealand from Singapore in 2015.

He managed to achieve the NZ Dental Research Foundation Scholarship and Otago Medical Research Foundation Scholarship during his undergraduate years through commitment to excellence and continued learning.

Dr. Ben focuses on a preventative approach to dental care and practices minimal intervention and believes in educating patients on how to take care of themselves by focusing on prevention as part of the cure.

He has completed numerous courses in endodontics, composite resin artistry, digital dentistry, implantology, oral surgery and facial cosmetics. He is an active member of RipeGlobal Dental Education, New Zealand Society for Anaesthesia and Sedation in Dentistry (NZSSD) and New Zealand Dental Association.

Outside of work Dr. Ben enjoys golf, fishing and spending time with friends and family around Nelson.
